The COVID-19 testing clinic at the Hunter Park Family Centre in Muswellbrook will be shutting up shop after today.
The second clinic in Muswellbrook opened up at the start of the week to encourage more locals to get tested and increase the opportunity for them to do so.
Uptake wasn't enough to open for another week - over the first three days of this week just 36 people had gotten a test at the clinic.
The Muswellbrook Hospital, as well as the Scone and Singleton Hospital drive-thru clinics will remain open.
In the 2 weeks up until Wednesday evening, 440 people had been tested at the Muswellbrook and Scone clinics and since the pandemic started a total 1,467 have been tested at both.
In the two week to Wednesday evening 316 tests alone had been done at Muswellbrook Hospital and since the pandemic began a total of 892.
The Muswellbrook clinic is open Monday to Friday 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
