The State Government has offered to immediately start paying Upper Hunter nurses an extra three percent if they call off a planned 24-hour strike.
Nurses from Scone, Muswellbrook and Singleton hospitals will walk off the job at 6 tomorrow morning as they move to escalate their 15 percent pay dispute with the government.
Nurses also have industrial bans in place on tasks such as making beds and emptying bins.
