A man has been rushed to hospital after being bitten by a snake.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were alerted to the incident in Singleton Heights around lunchtime yesterday.
The man had been bitten on the lower leg by an eastern brown.

He was taken to Singleton Hospital before being airlifted down to Newcastle by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
