The boss of the Liddell Power Station said workers are accepting of the fact the facility has come to the end of its useful life.
The 52 year old power generation facility will shut down tomorrow with 300 workers directly impacted.
Federal Energy Minister Chris Bowen visited the site yesterday to thank the workers on behalf of the Australian people.

Bayswater Liddell General Manager Len McLachlan said they have been planning for this with staff for the past seven years.
