Half of Huntlee Stage Two buyers from outside the Hunter

Only around half of the new properties in Stage Two of the Huntlee housing development will be purchased by local Hunter region buyers.

That’s the prediction contained within the Environmental Impact Statement just placed on public exhibition by the developers.

The remaining properties are expected to be snapped up by people from the Central Coast and Sydney.

The project is expected to pump $421 million into the local economy during the construction stage.
