Traffic is flowing along the New England Highway at Aberdeen this morning after a two-vehicle smash.
Emergency services were called to the incident near Gordon Street late yesterday.
Police say the crash involved a sedan and SUV.
The driver of the sedan – an 18-year-old male was treated at the scene by NSW ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition with limb injuries.
A 32-year-old woman from the SUV was also choppered down to the John Hunter in a stable condition with lower body injuries.
Two boys aged 8 and 10 were taken to Muswellbrook Hospital in stable condition.
The driver of the SUV – a 38-year-old man – was not injured.
