The role:

Council is currently seeking two Water & Sewer Operators to join the Water & Sewer team. These roles will be responsible for undertaking operations, maintenance and construction for Council's water and wastewater networks under direction of an experienced Supervisor. Work includes maintenance, repairs and construction of water and sewer infrastructure and/or assets to provide an effective and reliable service to the community.

What we need from you:

Our ideal candidate will have experience in basic plumbing and/ or water and sewer operation, as well as operating plant and the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. You will also be reliable and be able to work independently as required.

What's on offer:

- Salary range of $1024.60 to $1147.60 per week ($53,279.20 to $59,675.20 p/annum) + 10.5% super + operational allowances + potential overtime and the opportunity for salary progression
- 9 day fortnight (that means every second weekend is a long weekend!)
