Job Description:

We are looking for a Registered Psychologist (Team Leader) AND a Senior Psychologist to lead our growing Psychology team. In response to the roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) our service continues to expand, creating new opportunities within our teams. Our team is comprised of both General Registered Psychologists and Provisional Psychologists all with Supervision arrangements in place. We are looking for two dynamic leaders to guide this already inspiring team, working with children and their families in the Lower and Upper Hunter Regions.

Skills Required: Essential Criteria

A Degree qualification Clinical and General Psychology and registration with appropriate professional body (as relevant).

Experience leading a team of staff

Post graduate experience with a pediatric case load including an ability to conduct assessments for children (preferred)

A holistic approach to children’s development

Ability to integrate programs into everyday activities and childcare/home routines

A commitment to the philosophy of inclusion and family centred practice

Excellent written and verbal communication, consultation and negotiation skills

Demonstrated ability to liaise with other agencies and work collaboratively as a member of a transdisciplinary team

Excellent computer skills

Driver’s licence and reliable car

The Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check are also prerequisites for employment.

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Hours of work: Negotiable - full time (37.5 per week) or part time available
