Beloved sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine has officially been renewed for a seventh season by NBC.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s upcoming seventh season will be the second season to appear on the American network after it was ingloriously axed by rival network FOX in 2017. It was saved from the scrap heap by NBC after a huge push from fans and seems like it has proved to be a good investment for NBC.
The sixth season reprieve on NBC began as a 13-episode series order, but was upgraded to 18 in September.
Most of the core cast, minus Chelsea Peretti who departed the main cast midway through the current season, is expected to return for season seven.
