Taylor Swift’s mom, Andrea Swift, recently shared insights into her daughter’s happiness since starting her romance with NFL star Travis Kelce.
In a rare public comment featured in the new trailer for Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour docuseries, The End of an Era, Andrea Swift, 67, stated, “Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness.” This marks one of the few times Andrea has spoken about her daughter’s high-profile relationship.
The trailer also showcased sweet moments of the couple, including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce rehearsing for his Eras Tour debut and sharing a kiss backstage. Swift was also seen wearing a Kansas City Chiefs shirt during rehearsals and watching Kelce play in a game. The couple, who share similar career demands, bonded over “basically [having] the same job” during a phone call.
“You’ve got teammates, I’ve got teammates,” Kelce can be heard saying, with Swift humorously adding, “You’ve got Coach [Andy] Reid, I’ve got my mom.”
This blossoming relationship has reportedly led to an engagement. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 after two years of dating. They shared photos of her stunning diamond engagement ring and details of the romantic garden proposal, which Swift later revealed Kelce “crushed” despite being “nervous.”
